In association with the People’s NHS Save Our NHS Hull and East Yorkshire are calling on Virgin Healthcare and other private companies attempting to turn a profit out of NHS contacts to come clean and display their logos, rather than hiding behind the supremely trusted NHS badge. What are they scared of? Usually Virgin are far from backward when pushing themselves forward?
You can join with us this week by coming along to one or more of the campaign events listed below. We are a friendly bunch and you will be paired up with someone. We will be leafleting and collecting signatures for a petition.
We will be a big presence at the People’s Assembly rally against austerity this Saturday 11am onwards in Queens Gardens, City Centre Hull. Austerity is a major public health issue.
